Dedicated CSA Volunteers Aid NWSS
Colorado Simmental members again were a vital part of the breed events at the 2013 National Western Stock Show. In addition to the months of work prior of arriving in Denver, they provide hands-on processing help and numerous behind-the-scenes jobs to make the shows and sales all run smoothly.

| Kellie Kechal and Savannah Ostermiller prepare to hand out champion trophies during the hill show. CJSA members, plus AJSA board trustees, helped at check-in and at the shows throughout the week at Denver. |
CSA and CJSA volunteers helped serve the barbecue prior to The One XX sale. A special thank you to members Ron and Sherry Mari of Holyoke, who again catered the delicious pre-sale meal. Ron also served as yards chairman, a job he's coordinated since 1997. |

| CSA Pres. Curt Russell and Lori Eberspacher tabulate Power Bull points after one of the division judging periods. Russell also was CSA's coordinator for The One sale, where the judging ticket purchased by Colorado's Jerry McCaw was drawn out. See our People's Choice Power Bull page for details. |
Keanna Smith and Ella Fischer bookend the donation lot at the Wild, Wild West sale. The AI semen tank itself was donated by Chart and the bull semen donated from numerous AI companies and sale consignors.
