Colorado Simmental Association was formed in August 1970 to promote Simmental genetics. Annually, CSA
sponsors National Western Stock Show breed activities in Denver and the Colorado State Fair Simmental show in
Pueblo. See About CSA.
Colorado Junior Simmental Association serves youth cattlemen ages 8 to 21. Contact us for more information
about how your youth can get involved in the program that offers public speaking and leadership skills,
education about cattle, scholarships and field days.

2025 EVENTS

Sat., May 31 & Sun., June 1 - Colorado Breed Bash - State multi-breed educational contests and registered cattle breed shows for youth at the Morgan County Fairgrounds in Brush, CO.

Sat, May 31 - CJSA annual meeting - held in conjunction with Breed Bash.

June 23-25 - Colorado Cattlemen's annual convention. (CSA is an affiliate member of CCA.) - Steamboat Springs, CO

Aug 25-27 - Colorado State Fair breeding beef shows including Simmentals in Pueblo. Junior/Youth show begins 2 p.m. Mon. 8/25, and the open class begins at 9 a.m. Wed. 8/27 with bulls then females. Multi-breed Supreme drive to highlight each show day.
